Everything we do has to help people find and follow Jesus. If we lose this, we lose everything. Jesus is the Son of God. He's the hope of the world, He's the leader of the Church, and in Him every person encounters new life with God. We want people to like our church; we want people to love Jesus.
Here’s the bottom line: nothing matters more to Jesus than people. Jesus loved us to death, insisting that we love our neighbors to life. As such, everyone deserves to be loved, cared for, valued, heard, and seen regardless of background, brokenness, or life stage.
Jesus never leaves us the same. He forgives our mistakes. He heals our past. He transforms our character. He renews our hope. He enables us to become who we could never be on our own. Therefore, we will be a church that relentlessly inspires people to go all in every day and in every way with Jesus.
God wants every person to make a difference! We are not consumers; we are contributors. We will always accomplish more together than we ever could alone. Therefore, we won't stop recruiting, developing, and releasing leaders until we have as many people on mission as humanly possible.
To reach the people that no one is reaching, we must do things no one is doing. The mission can never change, but the methods must change. We dream big. We take risks. We fail forward. We try new things. We invest in the future.
When Christians are divided we are weak and ineffective, but when we are united we have the most powerful testimony for Jesus. We love our church and tribe, but God is doing more in our city and around the world. Therefore, we will pray. We will work through offenses. We will strive for unity. We will work together in advancing the name of Jesus.
If you’re not having fun, you’re not doing it right! We celebrate wins. We celebrate life change. We celebrate people on mission. We celebrate God’s goodness. We celebrate people leading with love. We celebrate radical generosity. We celebrate the Gospel winning in every corner of the world. We love to party!
“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life."
